Kitt Medical partners with St John Ambulance to Increase Allergy Awareness
This is the partnership we’ve always dreamed of:
Founded almost 150 years ago, St John Ambulance is England's leading first aid charity - and their endorsement to boost the delivery of emergency allergy treatment and training for schools and qualifying businesses means the world to us.

As the market leader of workplace first aid training and supplies, their vision is a world where everyone receives the help they need in a health crisis.
With our goal at Kitt being to create a new standard for allergy care, this is truly one of the most validating, exciting, and rewarding moments in our startup journey so far.
Together, we’ll improve the quality of life for those living with severe allergies and increase the availability of emergency anaphylaxis treatment.
St John Ambulance, founded in 1877, is a cornerstone of public health and emergency response in the UK, renowned for its life-saving first aid training and community support initiatives.
The charity’s expert teams respond to crises, train individuals and organisations, and deliver high-quality health education across diverse sectors. Known for its active involvement in both everyday health training and emergency medical aid, St John Ambulance is dedicated to building safe, prepared communities throughout the UK.
The shared vision is to create communities where allergy awareness, response tools, and knowledge are as readily accessible as defibrillators, reducing the risks associated with severe allergies and potentially saving lives.
Kitt Medical’s signature Anaphylaxis Kitt service, launched in early 2023, has already equipped 600 schools and businesses with emergency kits that are easily accessible, much like defibrillators.
Each Kitt includes adrenaline pens, CPD-accredited online training, and incident reporting. Since its launch, more than 10,000 staff members have been trained, and the service has been instrumental in treating eight life-threatening allergic reactions across the UK.
With allergies on the rise in both children and adults, this collaboration will significantly improve preparedness in educational and professional settings by enhancing awareness, providing life-saving adrenaline pens, and offering essential allergy response training to schools and qualifying businesses.
