How Anaphylaxis Kitts are made - out of recycled plastic! (UK Startup)
Have you ever wondered how our Anaphylaxis Kitts are made?
Find out as we spend an incredible day watching 1,000 Kitts being carefully made—an unforgettable experience that truly brought our mission to life!
We’re incredibly proud to share that every single Kitt is crafted from recycled plastic and meticulously hand-assembled with care and precision right here in our factory in Wales, UK.
There’s something deeply inspiring about witnessing the entire process up close. From the recycled components to the final assembly, every piece fits together with purpose, culminating in a finished product that holds the potential to save lives.
Sustainability has always been at the heart of what we do, and seeing this commitment in action is a powerful reminder of our responsibility to create solutions that not only save lives but also care for the planet.
Looking back, it feels worlds away from the spark of an idea I had during my university days. What started as a vision to make adrenaline pens more accessible has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
Seeing 1,000 Kitts lined up, ready to be shipped to schools and qualifying businesses across the UK, was a humbling and emotional moment.
As we all stood there, watching the Kitts being packed, I couldn’t help but think about the 9 lives they’ve already helped save and all the allergic reactions they’ll treat in the future. It was a poignant reminder of why we started this journey in the first place.
Of course, this journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Building something new—something that redefines how people think about allergy care—is no easy feat. But standing in the factory, seeing the Kitts come together piece by piece, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. It’s clear that what we’re doing truly matters.
This isn’t just about the product, though. It’s about the incredible team we’ve built—a group of talented, passionate, and driven individuals who believe in this mission just as much as I do. Together, we’re shaping a future where life-saving solutions are accessible to all, and we’re not slowing down anytime soon.
As we look ahead to 2025, I’m filled with excitement.
This year promises to be our biggest yet, with ambitious plans to expand our impact and continue innovating in allergy care.
Here’s to raising more awareness, training more people, and helping save more lives - one Kitt at a time.
Since launching in January 2023, we’ve provided over 750 Kitts to organisations all across the UK, training 13,000 people and treating 9 life-threatening allergic reactions in the process.
