Alton Towers Becomes First Theme Park Worldwide to Install Anaphylaxis Kitts
WE PUT ANAPHYLAXIS KITTS IN THE LARGEST THEME PARK IN THE UK!
Yup - you read that correctly...
We initially embarked on our journey to create a new standard for allergy care at the start of 2023, launching ‘Anaphylaxis Kitts’ exclusively for schools.
Since then, we’ve sold over 500 Kitts - placing them in over 400 schools across the UK. But with a dream of becoming every defibrillator’s next-door neighbour, schools are only the beginning.
We're now finally able to supply our Kitt service to qualifying businesses with occupational health schemes for staff use. This can include everything from offices to universities, hospitality venues, retail, leisure, and more (In accordance with Human Medicines Regulations under Schedule 17).
To kick off, we partnered with Alton Towers Resort, installing 17 Anaphylaxis Kitts across the theme park - with a subscription supply of adrenaline pens alongside CPD-accredited online training.
Honestly, this is such a significant step forward in our overall goal to become every defibrillator's next-door neighbour - and the nationwide movement for increased allergy awareness and preparedness.

Alton Towers Resort is the largest theme park in the UK, spanning 550 acres of land in central Staffordshire. The park is operated by Merlin Entertainments Group and incorporates a Theme Park, Waterpark, Extraordinary Golf and several types of accommodation for overnight guests, including restaurants throughout. They employ over 2,500 members of staff across 24 departments.
Tom Handley, Security & Medical Manager at Alton Towers, originally got in touch with the Kitt Medical team as they had flagged allergy and anaphylaxis as a valid health and safety risk across the park.
