The loss of Jakub Bednarz (allergic reaction)

Last week I wrote a post about my allergies not being taken seriously.

All whilst unbeknownst to me, another person was tragically fighting for their life as a result of the very thing I was writing about.

The irony - if you can even call it that - is certainly not lost in me.

Whilst the exact details and circumstances of Jakubs death havent been revealed, the article states that he had been fighting for his life in the RVH since March 25 having suffered a cardiac arrest linked to a severe allergic reaction.

The article also states that whilst he suffered allergies all through his short life, he had a remarkably positive outlook on life.

Allergies aren’t something to be afraid of - They’re something to be prepared for.

My sincerest condolences go out to Jakubs family and friends ❤️
