We’re Mayor’s Entrepreneur 2022 Finalists!
In just three weeks time we’ll be facing off against four other young and innovative entrepreneurs who are all also finalists for the Mayor's Entrepreneur Health Award.
Our qualification for the finals of the competition, run by Mayor's Fund for London, will mean that Kitt will be seen by those including Sadiq Khan and his team at City Hall.
On Wednesday we were invited to an expertly run training day, where we were able to meet with and practice pitching against all the other fantastic young innovative finalists, including Manoj Murali from Organa and Ariel Marilyn Sereda from MindLink.
The award is split into five categories across Health, Technology, Sustainability, Creative Industries, and Social Enterprise. Each category will have their own respective winner - with £20k worth of grant funding being awarded along with expert mentoring from staff at City Hall.
The breadth of creativity in the room and scope for potentially world changing impact that many of the ideas we came across had was truly inspirational - it left both James and myself feeling incredibly grateful to be part of such a revolutionary cohort.
We’re aware that we have not only been given the opportunity to compete, but also to speak directly to those who could enable widespread public access to the emergency medication required to save a life in the case of anaphylaxis.
We want to act as a vehicle for change, creating a voice for people with allergies, improving people’s lives by tackling the stigma associated with allergies and pushing forward a new standard of allergy care.
We can’t wait to see and hear the finalised pitches in a few weeks, and hope you’ll be rooting for us!
