The importance of having perspective

Progress is a crazy thing.

You might not see it up close, but zoom out for a second and you’ll realise that over time, everything has changed.

Looking back two years ago, Kitt Medical was just a prototyped idea named ‘ana.’ that I was building in my university bedroom.

Now, we’re about to close our second funding round and officially launch our fully refined, successfully piloted and award winning Anaphylaxis Kitts in schools nationwide.

Over the past two years:

🧠 I’ve learnt SO much about my own allergic condition. I’ve never been afraid to be the dumbest in the room, engage with industry professionals and learn from others with shared experience to help improve my own understanding and inevitably the products capability to solve the problem.

📆 I’ve come to realise the amount of time, effort and energy that goes into taking something - specifically a heavily regulated hardware product - from idea to reality - and have come to appreciate the many times we’ve overcome problems we initially deemed insurmountable.

🤝 I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many incredible people who have offered their help and support along the way - including of course my awesome team of James, Simon & Jonny.

Undoubtably these past two years have been some of the most challenging, rewarding and overall formative of my life…

…and even in saying that - I’m conscious everything’s going to change once we launch!
